11 The freenode #live team are excited to announce more confirmed speakers
12 for the [freenode #live conference](https://freenode.live/conference/fn-live17)
13 taking place at the At-Bristol Science Centre in Bristol, UK on 28-29th October
14 this year, with plenty more still to be announced.

16 Of the variety of speakers, talks and workshops we've had submitted, we're
17 pleased to announce the following confirmed lineup:

21 - Deb Nicholson (Community Outreach Director for the Open Invention Network,
22 winner of several awards including the O'Reilly Open Source Award)
23 - Karen Sandler (Executive Director of the Software Freedom Conservancy, former
24 executive director of the GNOME Foundation)
25 - Matthew Garrett (technologist, programmer, and free software activist - a
26 major contributor to various projects including Linux, GNOME, Debian, Ubuntu
27 and Red Hat. He is a recipient of the Free Software Award from the Free
28 Software Foundation for his work on Secure Boot, UEFI, and the Linux kernel.

38 Developer, Site Reliability Engineer at Yelp)
39 - Errietta Kostala (Perl developer at FairFX London, keen open source
