   4 A great deal of incredible people, projects and corporations have provided both time and resources to freenode over the last decade and a half, not only in getting the network up and running but also to ensure that it continuously grows and improves. We'd like to express thanks to those who have contributed to the project. We'd also like to thank the support volunteers that help oil the wheels during the day-to-day operations of the network.
