   6 With PROTECT OFF, anyone may use your nick without authorization.

   8 With PROTECT ON, users of your nick must identify within
   9 one minute or their nick will be changed. This is the default.

  11 With PROTECT HIGH, users must identify before using your nick
  12 or their nick will be changed immediately.

  14 With PROTECT KILL, users must identify before using your nick
  15 or they will be disconnected from IRC.
