   1         SrSv nee SurrealServices is currently being developed
   2 with UnrealIRCd 3.2.x in mind. As such many assumptions may be
   3 in place even if we did not intend there to be. This will
   4 probably make porting difficult, if not impossible. We, the
   5 coders, would like to apologize in advance for this fact.

   7         This is an unfortunate consequence of only having
   8 UnrealIRCd at our immediate disposal. We would welcome patches
   9 to clean up such difficulties, as long as they remain
  10 sufficiently clean/readable and do not introduce assumptions
  11 incompatible with other ircds that SrSv is attempting to work
  12 with.

  14         Among the assumptions to be noted are that all of your
  15 ircds are properly configured and that the configurations are
  16 uniform throughout your irc-network. We believe that this is a
  17 necessary aspect of a properly maintained network, and as such
  18 should not be an undue burden.

  20         Further of note is that SrSv does not have a full
  21 capability list for ircds and such may be necessary for
  22 portability (if your ircd does not support things like WATCH,
  23 SILENCE, etc).
