  36 This is my first e-mail to this mailing list, so, please correct me if I

  39 I have a debian box, and did sudo apt-get install ircd-ircu.
  40 So, I've IRCu installed. Little configuration things in the
  41 /etc/ircd/ircd.conf file, but pretty much done.

  43 Then I went searching for a IRC-services package. Found one, this one :)
  44 I configured the package (first installed it, it was a .deb package).

  46 I started it, it says that everything is okay, no errors, and:
  47 &quot;Initialization successful, starting IRC Services.&quot;.

  49 I joined my IRC server, and did:
  50 /msg ChanServ HELP
  51 said back to me: &quot;[15:51:48] ChanServ: No such nick&quot;.
  52 Tried it with Nickserv too, same reaction.

  54 Soo ..  It is running (ps -ax is the proof) but. Not responding ? well,
  55 No services online I can tell you :)
