  36 Recently the server I use to run ircservices got new hardware, and I
  37 have to reinstall some programs, including irc services. I chose to
  38 upgrade services from 5.0.x to 5.1pre5.
  39 I noticed some odd behaviour when I tried to register a nick, and also
  40 got segmentation fault.
  41 The network consist of two Unreal IRCd (3.2.7) servers, call them A
  42 and B servers.
  43 When I set up server A, I configure the services to connect to it, it
  44 works well. Then I link server A to server B, that's seems to go well
  45 too.

  47 I uploaded the edited ircservices.log here:

  49 What I edited:
  50 - Deleted the old parts of the log, when nothing suspicious happened.
  51 - Deleted the irrelevant messages (user_not_involved_in_any_errors
  52 identifyied, new max user count, registered
  53 user_not_involved_in_any_errors, ...)
  54 - Deleted the ip addresses/hostnames because of the privacy of users.
  55 However, I can provide the full unmodified logfile if needed.

  58 Sentinel, luther, karmantomi were on server B, when server A with the
  59 services linked to it.

  61 I use AMD K8 Athlon64/Opteron CPU according to lspci.
