35 seen such behaviour, i believe it was related to
3rd party vhost
36 modules for ircservices which sent CHGHOST to the server without
37 updating the fakehost string on the ircservices, and thus ircservices
38 are unable to detect the correct ban, or services believe ban is
39 already set while in reality the user is not really banned.
40 i can't be sure it was the issue, but it was the problem i had with
41 chanserv unban, and since i've patched the issue i'm pretty sure i
42 didn't see this no more.
43 if this is not the issue however it could be simply desync, happens a
44 lot, i get a
"user parted but never joined
" message in the logs almost
45 every week, shit happens on multiple server networks.
