  50 I changed unrealircd.conf accordingly, now everything is fine, i can set
  51 admins, create channels, tweak access modes, pretty much everything
  52 seems to be fine (at least on surface).

  54 The stumbling block for me was that some kind of &quot;elevated
  55 privileges&quot; (oper) are also required on Unreal, not just on ircservices.
  56 I was thinking that ircservices alone takes care of all that (i thought
  57 ircservices is simply an extension to the IRC server per se, while in
  58 truth they are two different layers with large parts of the
  59 functionality separated).
  60 I think i understand it now - at least i am able to perform the basic
  61 work i was looking to accomplish.
