  46      This release is primarily to deal with complaints that Services no
  47 longer compiles under GCC 2.95.  A workaround has been added for this
  48 release, with the side effect that log messages will no longer be written
  49 to stderr when -nofork is used (only for such compilers).  This workaround
  50 will disappear in Services 5.1, so users of such old compilers are
  51 recommended to upgrade to GCC 3.2 or later as soon as convenient.
