  41      This release has a number of features I had hoped to include in
  42 4.5.0 but didn't because I was going through too many pre-releases.
  43 Notably, channel modes can now be buffered (see MergeChannelModes in
  44 data/example.conf), there is now an HOP command to parallel the
  45 SOP/AOP/VOP commands for Unreal servers (and yes, I know &quot;hop&quot; is a
  46 word, but so is &quot;sop&quot;, so live with it), ChanServ has an ENFORCE
  47 option to enforce +o/+v(/+h) modes like some of the pre-releases did,
  48 and the ChanServ CLEAR command can now clear exceptions and halfops
  49 as well on servers that support them.  The changes aren't major
  50 ones, so I hope no major bugs will come out, but keep in mind that
  51 this release may not be quite as stable as previous ones, especially
  52 if you use the new features.

  54      This release also fixes a couple of potentially nasty security
  55 bugs, one with the SU command (oops) and one letting people use the
  56 VOP command to delete people with higher access levels (oops again).
  57 I hate to spring fixes like these on everyone in a possibly-not-
  58 quite-stable release, but c'est la vie.  If anyone notices any
  59 problems, let me know and I'll release a fix promptly.
