  38 I've been using IRCServices in conjunction with UnrealIRCd for over
  39 3 years now and I'd like to suggest some features to make IRCServices
  40 even more comfortable and user-friendly than it already is :)...

  42 Unreal (and perhaps some other ircds) support virtual hosts these
  43 days. Wouldn't it be a good idea to allow users to store a vhost
  44 whithin their NickServ-account? So, whenever a user identify's
  45 himself, his ident and hostname will be changed by services to
  46 the one previously defined f.e. with 'SET VHOST &lt;<A HREF="http://www.ircservices.za.net/mailman/listinfo/ircservices-coding">user at host</A>&gt;'? (for
  47 security reasons, changing of the vhost-entry could be restricted
  48 to Service Admins only). There could also be an option to define
  49 whether the users host should be changed automatically or not when
  50 identify'ing.

  52     Of course, there would always be the possibility to enhance
  53 services by an extra HostServ-module or whatever. But then users
  54 would have to additionally use a specific HostServ-command to
  55 change their host to the (self-)defined one. Furthermore, there
  56 is already the /VHOST command (at least in unreal) - but the
  57 vhost.conf has to be edited manually by Server Admins. So, you
  58 (as a user) have to give them a passwd for it - which means,
  59 you can either define (and remember) just another new one or
  60 you have to give away your NickServ-pass.

  63 first time and/or has already been discussed/rejected/planned-
  64 for-future-versions :)...
