38 <PRE>The next UnrealIRCd version (
3.2.3) will feature two new channel modes: +I
39 (invex) and +j (join throttling). They're already in CVS, for those interested.
40 However, it seems that Services doesn't support them.
42 The reasons for coming to this conclusion are as follows:
43 - Couldn't find anything relating to these two modes in protocol/unreal.c
44 (although I will admit, what I know about C is dangerous)
45 - Trying to use ChanServ MLOCK on them returned an
"unknown mode char
" error
46 - OperServ CLEARMODES failed to remove them if set
48 (Version
5.0.48 of Services was used.)
50 Some technical information regarding these modes: according to Unreal's
005
51 numeric, +I is a mode that adds a nick!
<A HREF=

</A> mask to a list (like +b and
52 +e, which should automatically imply that it shouldn't be MLOCKed), while +j
53 requires a parameter to be set but doesn't require a parameter to be unset; +l
54 works the same way. The syntax for +j is
"+j joins:seconds
".
56 As I'm expecting Unreal3.2
.3 to be released sometime within the next two weeks,
57 this should be sorted out pretty quickly (ie before it gets released.)
