34 <PRE>I think he's confused on the secureops thing...at least I am from what he's
37 If you set appropriate levels, which default are usually good enough, and
38 set the proper settings on the channel, an op may op a user with their
39 client, but chanserv will immediately deop the person if they are not on the
40 access list equal to or higher than level
5 (or aop). An aop can kick, ban,
41 etc etc without interference from chanserv. A sop (level
10) can add aops,
44 As for the idle thing...no where in any standards or our server rules does
45 it state an idle person must deop. Now if one of our ircops are opped in a
46 channel and they are going to idle, we encourage them to deop, but that's
47 not enforced. But still, the feature that reops should be toggleable as it
48 can cause some frustrations for people who deop when they are idling or
49 don't wish to bother with the channel atm. If I am missing something, go
50 ahead and like knock me over the head because it feels like I am. But then,
51 I've got a migraine so I'm not thinking clearly.
