  39      Language files are just plain text files; as another reply said, read
  40 the comments at the top of lang/en_us.l, and work from there.  Be warned
  41 that the amount of text is huge; expect to spend at least two to three
  42 months on the initial translation.

  44      Also, if you'd be willing to continue maintaining the language file as
  45 it is updated in future versions, please let me know privately.
