  37      - There is NO WAY to resynchronize a desynched server, Services
  38 included, without disconnecting, throwing away all old information, and
  39 reconnecting.  In the case of Services, that means that logon news messages
  40 get sent again, channel modes get reset, etc.  Whether the program restarts
  41 itself or not is completely irrelevant to this.

  43      - Services is, on the other hand, already capable of recognizing users
  44 who have identified for their nicknames across a restart (unless you
  45 uncommented NoSplitRecovery in ircservices.conf).
